Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Hot Honey Glaze
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
Instructions
  1. Place the oven temperature setting at 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius) while preparing the baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour with half the spices.

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs with a splash of water.

  4. Stir panko with spices from the second bowl and set this mixture aside.

  5. Coat the chicken pieces diligently with flour and then egg before adding panko breadcrumbs.

  6. Reposition the chicken artifacts onto the baking sheet before applying a faint coating of food spray.

  7. Proceed to bake the chicken pieces for 15-20 minutes at 425°F oven heat until they become golden-brown and enjoy a crispy exterior while reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.

  8. To make the glaze prepare the small saucepan with all components for combining at medium heat until butter melts while the mixture bubbles slightly.

  9. Apply the hot honey glaze coating to the chicken in the last five minutes of baking time.

  10. Additional glaze should be served along with the dish.
